With over 30 years of childcare experience, we are dedicated to providing trusted childcare in a safe and healthy environment with a staff that has a true love for children. We aspire to nurture the child’s growth, development, and learning while having fun. And we are committed to the families that we serve.

As a mom of two, I understand that selecting a preschool for your child is one of the most important decisions you can ever make. In our intimate and family-oriented environment, open communication is welcome, and if you and your child are happy, so are we.

Our Programs at over the rainbow

Over the Rainbow infant program offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for babies aged 6 weeks to 18 months. Our sensory-rich play areas encourage exploration and development of motor skills, while our loving teachers provide personalized care and attention. We prioritize safety, with baby-proofed spaces and camera monitoring. Our curriculum includes gentle introduction to solid foods and support for potty training. We also offer a parent app for staying connected and building strong partnerships with parents.

Over the Rainbow toddler program (18-30 months) offers a safe and nurturing environment for your child’s growth and development. Our experienced teachers foster social-emotional skills and school readiness through a creative curriculum that blends fun and learning. We provide spacious indoor and outdoor play areas for physical activity, and nutritious meals are included. With daily reports and pictures, you’ll stay connected to your child’s progress.
Over the Rainbow Preschool Program  (30 months – 4 years) provides a vibrant, multi-sensory environment that sparks your child’s imagination and love of learning. Our creative curriculum, combining the renowned Creative Curriculum and STEAM activities, ensures a strong foundation in literacy, math, science, and social skills. Daily enrichment activities like arts, music, and dramatic play foster creativity and fine motor development.
Over the Rainbow Pre-Kindergarten program (4-5 years) prepares your child for kindergarten through play-based learning focused on STEAM principles and social-emotional development. Our experienced teachers foster independence, self-confidence, and essential academic skills. We offer a variety of enriching activities to spark creativity and imagination. Our safe and secure facility includes spacious indoor and outdoor play areas for physical activity. Complimentary nutritious meals are provided, and our parent app keeps you connected with your child’s progress. We partner with parents to tailor each child’s experience to their unique needs.

My husband and I took a tour of this school in the summer of 2021 and I immediately knew I wanted my son to go here. We looked at other schools as well but we both agreed that the atmosphere and size of the school was perfect!
Our son started here in September of 2021 and he absolutely loves it!!! He is currently in the preschool classroom with Ms Dyana and she is absolutely wonderful!!! You can tell that she LOVES what she does because it comes through in her work with all the kids. The rest of the staff at the school are fantastic too. They communicate with you very well about what's going on in the school and/or any issues.

I could not say enough good things about Over The Rainbow! We enrolled our daughter about 6 months ago and she absolutely loves it. She wakes up every morning asking to go to school. We have also seen a huge advancement in her development and socialization skills. She comes home every day singing new songs, saying new words, counting, and telling us about all of her friends at school, and she is not even 2! The staff is always friendly, accomodating and helpful. You can tell that they genuinely care about the kids and are passionate about what they do. My daughter started at Over the Rainbow this past year. As a first-time parent, I was understandably nervous to transition her from home to a daycare setting. But OTR keeps the line of communication open every day -- constant updates via Procare of what and how she's doing - which helps a lot! And since my daughter started at OTR, I've seen her grow in so many new ways; she's developed social skills, become more independent, and tried new foods and activities. Finally, I like that they partner with Virtua Pediatric Mobile Services and the Bordentown School District; I researched many daycare locations, and none provided these additional services. Overall, I'd highly recommend Over the Rainbow!

My son, now almost four years old, has attended OTR since I returned to work from maternity leave. The staff are caring, creative and loving. The kids get breakfast, lunch and snack every day, and the menu varies and is well-balanced. I know that if I only have time to throw chicken nuggets in the oven for dinner, he's had two quality, healthy meals for the day! Each class has a curriculum, even for the littlest ones, which both challenges their little minds and keeps them enthusiastic about I&arning. I had my son in a different daycare for his first 9 months before Over The Rainbow. They tried very hard to mimic this facility, but fell far short of the quality and professionalism OTR delivers. Over The Rainbow is an exceptional Childcare Center. My grandson has really been enjoying using his motor skills, painting, coloring, playing ball in the gym and Learning a lot while in daycare. I also love the new Procare system! They give you up to date information and pictures all throughout the day, including what they ate.. nap time, easy access to Update the Parent and/or teacher through messaging and so much more!
They always have great festivities and Events for the Holidays which we enjoy attending as a family! They also have easy access for picking and dropping off your child/children by driving up and dropping off while an OTR Staff member comes out to take the temperature of each child and brings them into the daycare Center.
